As part of the Best of 2009 Blog Challenge I’ll be blogging daily on the bests of 2009. With bells on.

{December 7 Blog find of the year. That gem of a blog you can’t believe you didn’t know about until this year.}

It’s true. Hundreds of hours of my life have been spent oogling at design inspiration after typographic tendencies. I’m a design blog junkie. And I never want to be sober.

Design blog feeds fill my Google Reader (with newly installed Helvetireader script!) each day, like little presents under a tree. When I actually get the time to sit down and shuffle through them, it’s much like Christmas morning. Eying inspiring photography, craft projects I’d never even begin to try, and interior design ideas that make my head spin. They are my drug. And I’m addicted.

At times I feel as if I am voyeuristically peering into the immaculate lives of these creative and brilliant bloggers. Jealousy is a common reaction. But usually followed by calmness and peace.

My favorite find this year: Daisy Chain. It’s lovely.
